Objectives of the meetings
The speeds-meetings are individual meetings with key players in the entrepreneurial and financial world. The objective of Mind & Market is to offer you the opportunity to expand your professional network and to allow you to accelerate the development of your start-up.
This year again, you will have the opportunity to benefit from personalized advice and qualitative exchanges with business leaders and financial experts.
The “network” speed-meetings
These are meetings with company directors, managers, and board members. Their objective is to guide you through your strategic and organizational changes. The various actors will put their professional experience and their network of contacts at your service. This will be an opportunity to discuss the development of your company and the challenges you face.
The “financial” speed-meetings
You will be able to discuss your financial development and maybe even find the financing that will make your start-up grow. All the financing actors who will participate will be ready to discover your start-up’s growth project and to listen to your needs.
Expectations of CEOs/financial experts
During these meetings, the CEOs and financial experts will expect several things from you so that they can give you the best advice and be of real help in the development of your project.
How to prepare?
Before the meeting, it is important that you identify the major needs and challenges of your project, as well as the objectives of possible financing if you participate in the financial speed-meetings. We invite you to think beforehand about what exactly you want from these meetings and make a list of the benefits you would like to gain.
During the meetings, don’t forget to clearly and explicitly communicate these elements to the various actors you will meet.
1. Your meeting schedule
A few days before the speed-meetings, you will receive an e-mail with the important information about your appointment(s) such as
- The time of your meeting(s).
- The name of the expert you will meet with and his or her description. This matching has been done based on the similarities between your expectations and those of the CEOs regarding this appointment.
- The link to the Airmeet platform.
- A contact phone number in case of delay or technical problem.
2. The day of the meeting
As you know, the speed-meetings will take place from April 26 to 29, 2021 from 11 am to 12:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 6 pm. Via the link you will have received, you will access a virtual waiting room from where you will be able to join the table of the expert you have to meet.
You must arrive 15 minutes early so that you can make small technical adjustments to avoid any delay. No delays will be tolerated, unless there is a compelling reason, given the gracious and voluntary commitment of the people you will meet.
Your appointment will last 30 minutes and it is very important that this timing be respected so that other project leaders can benefit from the same appointment time as you. During your interview, do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have prepared and to make the most of this privileged moment. It goes without saying that the exchanges will be conducted with respect and professionalism.
