Project description

The UCLouvain spin-off VOCSens aims to the commercialization of ultra-low-power CMOS gas microsensors dedicated to selective gases and volatile organic compounds (VOC) detection. The first product "EnviCam-10", reflecting the concept of "environmental camera", efficiently combines gases, temperature and humidity sensors in a unique low-cost smart sensing module featuring wireless communication through LPWAN networks. The main applications are found in environmental monitoring, industrial safety and process control (HVAC systems, alarm, etc.) within the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0.
