Project description
PracticePlay is a platform that helps classical musicians discover and apply for competitions more efficiently. Musicians will be matched with competitions based on their repertoire, age, and other criteria, making the search process faster and easier. For competition organizers, the platform will offer tools to manage applications more effectively and access a wider pool of qualified candidates. While I’m focused on launching the initial platform, my long-term vision includes AI-driven recommendations to help musicians make better career decisions.
Issue addressed by the project
Classical musicians often waste time searching through fragmented websites to find competitions and checking eligibility. The process is inefficient and frustrating, especially for students and early-career musicians. Similarly, competition organizers face challenges in reaching the right candidates and managing applications efficiently.
Solution(s) brought by the project
- PracticePlay offers a platform that automatically matches musicians with competitions based on their repertoire, age, and other specific criteria, saving them time and ensuring they meet eligibility requirements. For organizers, the platform simplifies application management and helps them attract a larger pool of qualified candidates. In the long term, I plan to integrate AI-driven recommendations to help musicians choose the right competitions and plan their careers more effectively.
Project need(s)
- I am currently focused on creating an MVP and forming partnerships with music schools and competition organizers. I am looking for a web developer or technical cofounder with knowledge of data structures to help me build and scale the platform. Additionally, I am seeking investors and technology experts to support the development and funding of the project. Participating in this forum will help me connect with the right people to advance these areas.
