Project description

d-event is a decentralized collaborative ecosystem for events' cashless and ticketing management. It allows each actor, from the end-user to the organizer to interact and manage a virtual wallet autonomously and securely thanks to Blockchain technology. Unlike current cashless systems where the entire monetary system is controlled by the provider, d-event allows everyone to be financially autonomous and to participate in the validation of transactions. Traditional cashless providers can be compared to a "central bank", they can create tokens from scratch, modify the transaction history and so on, because they are the ones who hold the computerized ledger on their server. With d-event, everyone maintains this ledger via the network.

Issue addressed by the project

Financial autonomy. - We eliminate intermediaries in the payment process - Cash flows go directly to the owner, unlike the current cashless system. - No more refund problems, everyone manage his own wallet (cashin/out). - Transactions are instantaneous and cheap. - The Blockchain provides an unprecedented level of security. - No more fraud and black market, everything is secured on the network (nominative ticket via a token ID on the Blockchain). - The system is collaborative and communitarian, the more the ecosystem develops, the more it is of interest to the pros.
